If the flame switch detects the required heat on its sensor bulb at the pilot, it will be closed as an electrical contact in its base. Otherwise, the flame switch's electrical contacts will remain open to prevent power from the gas stove which in turn would prevent gas from flowing to the burner.

a) Important Instructions Regarding Flame Sensor:

  • Don't install the flame switch in all circumstances.
  • Disconnect the power supply before installing the flame switch to prevent electrical shocks and damages.
  • Do not overload the terminal rating.
  • Don't bundle the lead wires for the flame detector, mains and ignition transformer's high voltage.
  • Use proper groundwork.

5) Valve (Safety Valve):

A safety valve is designed to open and relieve excess pressure from equipment and to close and prevent the further fluid release after the normal condition has been restored.
